COBRA Administration
The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) generally requires that group health plans sponsored by employers with 20
or more employees in the prior year offer employees and their families the opportunity for a temporary extension of coverage in
certain instances where coverage under the plan would otherwise end.
If requested, Significa Benefit Services can provide the following services to assist with your plan’s COBRA obligations:
- Sending initial notices to subsequent enrollees
- Sending election forms to qualified beneficiaries
- Coordinating enrollment, coverage and eligibility
- Administering billing
- Collecting premium payments
